Role Summary:
Aon-hand Merchandising Assistant to manage stock levels across multiple locations by raising purchase orders and tracking their deliveries, whilst maintaining an accurate PO Book in order to provide the rest of the business with the correct and most up to date information.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the expediting of Purchase orders
2. Updating of order confirmations
3. Confirm lead times, source alternatives, while liaising with internal stakeholders
4. Aiding weekly & monthly reports and collating performance analysis
5. Grow and develop close cooperation and relationships with internal stakeholders, project teams and external suppliers
6. Enhance the UK nationwide supply chain, strengthening and focusing with key suppliers
7. Engage in continuous dialogue with key suppliers
8. Work closely with the Buying and Supply Chain Team, helping to implement new procedures and initiatives to increase business productivity.
