Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Requirements Engineer for a Staffordshire based, specialist engineering business. The successful Requirements Engineer will need to be a British passport holder and be Degree qualified as well as ideally having some control systems experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inquisitive approach, able to question beyond surface level answers to understand root cause of problems and not be afraid to challenge.
2. Qualified to at least Degree level (ideally in Electrical or Controls related subject). Requirement Engineers with mechanical backgrounds will also be considered.
3. British passport holder and have lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years, as you'll be put through basic level security clearance.
4. Experience of working as a Requirements Engineer in a highly regulated industry.
5. Ability to collect, process and interpret data and information.
6. Strong written English skills to be able to produce high quality documentation.
7. Manage client effectively and communicate clear responses to internal stakeholders.
8. Keep up to date with latest legislation updates and changes, and be able to suggest and advise on imminent changes.
9. Opportunities to progress into either a Principal level Engineer or potentially go down the commercial route in strategic level advisory capacity.
The offices are closed Mondays and Fridays as everyone works from home, with all staff being expected in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. The management team encourages a sensible work-life balance and ensures team members finish work at 4.30pm Monday-Thursday and 12:30pm on Fridays.
The company encourages and will support Engineers taking on Chartered status / MSc qualifications, etc.
30 days holiday per year as well as the statutory Bank Holidays.
