As a Production Line Operative at our client’s facility in Avonmouth, you will play a crucial role in the production process of cooked meat products. Operating RTE (Ready-to-Eat) machines, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the production line while maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Responsibilities
1. Set up and operate RTE machines according to company guidelines and safety procedures.
2. Monitor the production line to ensure smooth flow and identify any issues or malfunctions that may affect product quality or efficiency.
3. Conduct routine quality checks on cooked meat products to ensure they meet the required standards.
4. Adhere to hygiene and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of raw and cooked meat.
5. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
6. Collaborate with the production team to achieve daily production targets and resolve any production-related issues.
7. Accurately record production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and any quality issues encountered.
8. Assist in the packing and labelling of finished products for shipment or distribution.
9. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and provide suggestions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
10. Participate in training programs and actively engage in ongoing learning to develop and expand your skills in the food processing industry.
Qualifications and Skills
11. Previous experience in a production line operative role within the food processing industry is preferred but not essential.
12. Ability to follow instructions and operate machinery in a fast-paced production environment.
13. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
14. Good understanding of hygiene and safety regulations related to food processing.
15. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
16. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
17. Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing production demands.
18. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as required.
Hours:
AM Shift on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, per hour
AM Shift on Monday-Friday per hour.
