Job Opportunity: Occupational Health Advisor (Temporary)

Salary: Circa £48,000 or hourly rate equivalent depending on experience
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite due to workload classification)
Security Clearance: All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS). Restrictions relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply.
The Opportunity
We are expanding our Occupational Health team and are seeking a temporary Occupational Health Advisor for up to 6 months (part-time considered). The role requires a minimum of 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) to join our Occupational Health & Wellbeing Team, dedicated to supporting employee health and wellbeing through comprehensive services.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver proactive health services promoting physical and mental wellbeing.
2. Conduct health screening, surveillance, and case management.
3. Build strong relationships with HR, Safety, and other business functions to provide expert guidance.
4. Respond to project challenges with excellent organisational and IT skills.
5. Support the development of OH technicians and team members.
6. Provide clinical advice and support wellbeing strategies, including initiatives and manager training.
7. Deliver wellness medicals and lifestyle assessments, providing health advice as needed.
8. Lead projects and implement service improvements.
9. Prepare case management reports and manage your workload effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
* Essential: NMC RN Part 1 registration.
* Extensive experience in occupational health services.
* Desirable: RN Part 3 - SCPHN (OH) registration.
* Experience in pre-placement assessments, health surveillance, case management, and responding to queries.
* Strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a broad range of occupational health nursing experience.
* Qualifications and experience in complex case management and training.
