Part Time Finance Manager Job in Lymington
* Salary circa £30,000 PA pro rata
* 22 days holiday + bank holidays

Dovetail Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a new Part Time Finance Manager to join a steadily growing company based in Lymington. This is a great opportunity to join a successful, fast-growing SME which specialises in the design, sourcing and manufacture of bespoke packaging and merchandise for major brands in the health and beauty industry.
The Part Time Finance Manager role will include providing support with accounts payable and receivable. In addition to this, there will also be such duties as data entry, responding to emails, maintaining accurate records and files, and other general administration duties. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks is key.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Part Time Finance Manager:
1. Assist with each stage of the sales order process:
1. Managing the Client's purchase order and any updates
2. Creating draft invoices which meet the specific requirements of each Client
3. Credit control
4. Liaising with Clients to provide supporting documentation, responding to finance queries
2. Assist with each stage of the purchase process:
1. Managing Supplier purchase order and any updates
2. Paying deposits which meet the specific agreements with each supplier, and making final payments
3. Ensuring the correct Duty and VAT are paid
3. Assist with monitoring & maintaining cashflow forecasts in multiple currencies, and business budget forecast and comparison
4. Data entry of financial transactions and balancing ledgers
5. Assist with bank reconciliation: cross-referencing the accounts against bank statements and other source documents to confirm accuracy
6. Assist with budget preparation and preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
7. Assist in preparing HMRC/VAT returns
Minimum Requirements for the Part Time Finance Manager:
1. A high level of numeracy skills, minimum 5 GCSEs to include Maths & English to Level 4 or above.
2. Previous accounts experience
3. AAT qualification or similar would be a bonus but not essential
