We are seeking a dedicated and skilled DT (Resident Materials) Teacher to join our dynamic team in Southend-on-Sea. In the DT (Resident Materials) role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a curriculum that engages and challenges students across all key stages. Your expertise in materials and design will enable students to understand the properties and applications of different materials and to create projects that demonstrate their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Design and Technology with a focus on materials.
Guide students in the safe use of tools and equipment, ensuring a secure learning environment.
Inspire students to explore creative solutions and develop their skills in design and craftsmanship.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the Design and Technology curriculum.
