We are working with a local secondary school located in Liverpool, who require a Learning Support Assistant to start with them as soon as possible.
You will be providing 1-1 and small group support to SEMH students who are in Key Stage 3 and 4. The students will have a range of needs including social and emotional, autistic spectrum conditions with additional learning difficulties.
The role of the Learning Support Assistant will be to work at classroom level, providing targeted support where required. You will be directed by the classroom teacher to provide support to students depending on their respective needs and the requirements of the lessons being taught.
The placement is full time and will be until the end of the summer term, July 2025 subject to performance and suitability.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with SEMH pupils. You will be caring and understanding of the individual challenges the students encounter and fully committed to helping them manage and overcome these challenges. You will be wholly committed to helping the students develop personally and academically.
