What you'll be doing;
Assist the Site Management ensuring the site is operating in a safe and efficient manner
Lead site staff to deliver operations and achieve agreed operational targets
Ensure the site meets the requirements of the Environmental Permit, Health & Safety at Work Act and other statutory controls, company policies and procedures
Assist with accurate recording of spend against budget and receipt of capital and purchase orders. Compiling reports
Liaising with operations, contractors and suppliers ensuring good working relationships
Promoting health & safety at all times
What we're looking for;
Previous operational management experience
Experience of landfill plant and equipment and an understanding of other associated plant and plant vehicles
Yellow plant licence - Bomag waste compactor, excavator above 10t, tracked loading shovel, wheeled loading shovel, bulldozer
Full UK driving licence
Good IT skills for recording and reporting
