Our client is looking for an Internal Sales Engineer to join an existing team. The purpose of this vacancy is to support existing customers with proposals providing technical knowledge and close sales deals. 90% of this vacancy is working with existing customers although you will have the experience to generate new prospect leads.
Role requirements
Liaising with design engineering and external sales team preparing proposals.
Providing technical expertise to customers
Strengthen relationships with existing customers
Dealing with all enquiries supporting customer needs
Working with digital marketing to enhance customer network
Identify new opportunities to optimise workflow
Project manage workflow to manage customer expectations.
Experience required/desired
Proven track record in industrial product sales or service roles, with a focus on technical offerings.
Solid project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives and deliver within deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage customer expectations.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen understanding of technical specifications and the ability to resolve customer challenges.
Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems such as SAP and CRM tools, along with a readiness to learn new systems and processes
