Work closely with Careers Information, Advice, and Guidance (CIAG), SPS staff, Vocational/Industries teams, and employability partners, including the DWP, to ensure a structured and supportive learner journey. Provide pastoral care, addressing barriers to engagement and supporting emotional and academic growth. Encourage participation in learner forums and lived experience sessions, empowering individuals to share and contribute to their development. Champion restorative practices, helping learners take accountability for their actions and develop constructive behaviours for rehabilitation. We are looking for: A relevant qualification in coaching, mentoring, or education (or working towards one). Level 2 Maths & English (or Scottish National Level 4 equivalent). Experience in coaching, mentoring, or teaching – ideally within a prison, rehabilitation, or employability setting. An excellent communicator – with strong relationship-building and collaboration skills and a strong presence with the ability to inspire learners. Able to develop innovative ways to engage learners. Able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
