They are offering first class training to launch a career in IT Kirkbie Kendal is a popular and over subscribed mixed comprehensive school for students aged between 11 and 18. There are currently over 1000 students on the school roll. The school has a proud history with its origins in the 'Free Schole' which was founded in 1525. This became Kendal Grammar School and in 1980 it amalgamated with Kendal High School to form Kirkbie Kendal. In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Develop the skills to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues. Assist in maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing school devices such as PCs, laptops, printers and visual displays. Provide technical support and guidance to staff and students, helping them to get the most out of ICT services like Microsoft Office. Support staff to make the most out of online learning platforms and cloud services like Google Classroom and Google Drive. Support with setting up desktops, laptops and software, including Windows operating system installations. Keep an up to date inventory of ICT resources across the school. Gain experience in monitoring web and keyword logs, reporting any incidents in line with school policies. Set up ICT and media equipment for school events, occasionally providing support for out of hours presentations. Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of ICT across the school. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team. Salary, Hours & Benefits: £14,566 per annum (salary negotiable for candidates with relevant ICT qualifications) Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm, Friday 8:30am to 4pm. 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Company pension scheme.
