What You’ll Do:
Premier League Productions (PLP) are proud to be the production partner to the most watched football league in the world. Globally, we broadcast to 190 out of 193 UN member states, serve over 100 broadcast partners and our work is available to 704million homes. Our wide array of high quality output includes live matches, digital content, studio shows, promos and magazine programming, all delivered across multiple platforms.
With a steady increase of scope across the past few years we are looking to expand the team. We are seeking the world’s most exciting creative talent to join our in-house Creative team, delivering best in class creative and cutting-edge design that engages and inspires Premier League fans across the globe.
We have an opening for a Senior Motion Designer to join our team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for crafting brilliant motion design across our promos and campaigns. From time to time you will be required to support your design colleagues across our other departments, including digital, broadcast features and live studio shows.
Fearlessly creative and passionate about elite football, you will work closely with Static Designers, a Lead Designer, Head of Creative and with Creative Producers to realise briefs from conception through to execution, working to fixed deadlines and delivering on time. Additionally, you will work within brand guidelines, as well as having the flexibility and confidence to present new and innovative ideas to the table. Being able to clearly pitch and present visual ideas concisely and take direction from the Lead Designer and Head of Creative is key.
Our promos and campaigns reach a truly global audience, reaching over 704 million homes globally. Working closely with our Campaign, Promo Creative leads, Design lead and Head of Creative, you will be responsible for the motion design and creative across that content. Delivering best in class 360 campaigns that work across our digital and broadcast landscapes.
You must be comfortable working within a team as well as being self directed. You will work closely with a static designer to help translate your work across the relevant platforms. You will work with a combination of archive footage and photography as well as original content. Working with our Campaign Creative to ensure we capture all relevant content when we shoot with players, clubs and league representatives.
Weekend and evening work will be required as well as travel to work with players and clubs around the Premier League.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
1. Working as part of a dedicated PLP Creative Team our Senior Motion Designer will work on briefs from conception through to execution across our promos and campaigns as well as digital content, broadcast features and live studio shows.
2. Day to day the Senior Motion Designer will work closely with Creatives and Digital Producers to deliver projects on brief and on time.
3. Our Senior Motion Designer will be an active source of inspiration for Designers, Creative producers and colleagues, regularly sharing ideas and thoughts.
4. Our Senior Motion Designer will show a complete understanding of the core Premier League brand guidelines and be comfortable operating in and around them.
You Will Have The Following Strengths:
5. A proven track record of delivering brilliant motion design.
6. Ability to conceptualize ideas into final design.
7. Ability to collaborate with peers to produce best in class design.
8. Ability to tell a visual story concisely.
9. Highly proficient within the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects and Photoshop. Any 3D experience is a benefit but not essential.
10. Proficient at working within digital specs and guidelines.
11. Passionate and knowledgeable about football design and current digital design trends.
12. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst managing own schedule.
13. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills.
14. Excellent football knowledge (with a focus on Premier League).
