Position: Facilities Operations Manager
Location: Primarily based on site in Edinburgh (4 days/week) with occasional visits to local sites in Perth & Barrhead (1 day/week)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Operations Manager for our esteemed client, who operates a prominent shopping centre and various other sites across Scotland. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation, compliance, and health & safety across all properties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead day-to-day operations of the facilities, ensuring excellence in service delivery.
* Supervise the execution of contracts and service agreements, ensuring cost efficiency and high service standards.
* Manage and monitor service level agreements, and maintain rigorous health & safety protocols.
* Coordinate maintenance schedules, manage service charge budgets, and handle property-related issues efficiently.
* Facilitate tenant relations, supporting the onboarding process and ensuring all fit-out processes comply with guidelines.
* Deliver comprehensive monthly reports and engage in regular strategic planning meetings to enhance service delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
* Significant experience in facilities management within a shopping centre or similar complex or retail environment.
* A robust understanding of compliance and health & safety requirements, supported by IOSH/NEBOSH certification.
* Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, with a track record of managing complex operations and teams.
* Must be based within commuting distance of Edinburgh and willing to travel to additional sites as needed.
