Role Summary: As a Technical project manager, you will be responsible for leading, communicating, and delivering a clear project plan that aligns with the project objectives, as well as support other members of the Professional Services Team to deliver key technical activities for projects in other regions. In addition, you will create an environment that fosters high performance among the other members of the team. This will require you to collaborate with DesAcc teams/resources in various regions, including the UK and Toronto, and be flexible in working with remote team members. Role Responsibi lit ies : Develop, manage, and maintain project documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), project metrics, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with the team. Lead DesAcc’s Customer engagement during scheduled Customer/Client calls, providing technical expertise, and efficiently managing DesAcc’s position while ensuring that project goals are achieved to the Customer’s satisfaction. Work closely with the Customer to translate project objectives into an effective project plan, obtain Customer management approval, and provide a forecast of resource skills needed. Interact and maintain relationships with Customer/Clients and vendors, keeping them advised of progress and issues, and handle changes to preserve project plan commitments. Proactively identifying changes in work scope and ensuring appropriate planning measures are taken, including the provision of technical Contract Change Notes. Support Implementation Engineers by providing assistance in understanding and implementing the project architecture Assist with project scoping and pre-sales activities by providing input into Statement of Works on time estimates a n d budgetary input. Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in Professional Services by actively seeking opportunities for collaboration and challenging current working practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Other duties as assigned What you will need (Required Qualifications) Formal education or equivalent Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Years of experience 5 years’ experience of Project Management, preferably in the healthcare information technology sector. Ability to work well with all people, including Implementation Engineers and Managers, and the ability to show initiative and work autonomously when. Flexible, eager to learn, problem solver, ability to focus on the project goals and persistently work to deliver to the expectations of the Customer/Client and DesAcc. Detail orientated and highly organised to ensure success at managing and completing technical tasks across multiple projects. Proficiency with Project Management software tools. Comfortable with analyzing large datasets, reviewing software configs and proposing technical enhancements to our migration platform. Be a team player able to be flexible in dealing with others and the job. Experience and familiarity with recognized Project Management methodologies. Prince II certification or equivalent Previous experience of PACS/VNA Project Management and/or migration. An understanding of health care standards such as DICOM and HL7.
