YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE: To ensure that the highest standards of food and beverage and hospitality are demonstrated at all times Assist with receiving and storage of goods Maintain good food safety, hygiene standards and practices Assists with the preparation of a food and beverage outlet for service including: Cleaning of equipment Cleaning and maintaining glassware and china for service Preparation of tables Serving of beverages Recording of replacement stock Billing procedures of items consumed in line with hotel policy Ordering and storage of minibar items Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships Attend and participate in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards Maintain a high level of knowledge which will enhance the guest experience Demonstrate a service attitude that exceeds expectations Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints Appreciate the dynamic nature of the hotel industry and extend these service attributes to all internal customers Be able to promote the hotel products and services Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety Perform other tasks at the level of the role as directed by your line manager in pursuit of the achievement of business goals WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: 1 year previous experience of a similar role within a Hotel environment Strong communication skills Self-motivated Ability to plan and prioritise Ability to multi task Attention to detail Flexible and adaptable approach Able to work unsupervised Customer Focus Literate in computer technology Ability to work as part of a diverse team with colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures and countries WHAT WE OFFER: Great team spirit according to our slogan ‘It’s not over until we get a smile’. 16 hours/week On-site training EXCELLENT COMPANY BENEFITS: Competitive salary and package Exclusive employee discounted rate to IHG and Cycas hotels Continuous paid training and development opportunities Free healthcare plan Cycas Hospitality is a gift for any hospitality professional.
