Trainee HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Driver Leeds, Yorkshire Starting Salary: £28,555 rising to £36,160 Shift Pattern: 5 over 7 shift pattern (includes Saturday), 48 hours per week. To be considered for the scheme please see the points below. You hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence. You are prepared to undergo a DVLA licence check and DBS CHECK. Your licence does not have TT99, DD, CD or DG codes, or has been revoked in the past. You have NOT completed Theory/Hazzard Perception/CPC 2 training. If successful you will be put through our Trainee Driver Academy (TDA), where you will start your journey to becoming a qualified HGV Driver. You will initially be driving a 3.5t vehicle for up to 12 weeks, so that you gain Route and Product knowledge (including some on site learning for your Theory Cat C and CPC mod 4 training and test). On passing your HGV Class 2 driving test, you will move up to a 7.5 Tonne vehicle to gain needed driving experience and at this point your basic salary will increase to £31,750. Once the Depot Manager feels that you are competent in a larger vehicle, you will then be re-assessed by one of our in-house assessors.
