We have an exciting opportunity for a new Team Leader to work within our Work and Wellbeing team in Barnsley.
The successful candidate will lead our Individual Placement & Support employment team in Barnsley.

Role
The Team Leader will report to the Head of Work & Wellbeing and lead a small team of Employment Specialists. The focus of the role is to:
* Lead a team to successfully deliver IPS employment support within South Yorkshire.
* Lead a highly effective team of Employment Specialists to provide positive and sustained employment outcomes for our customers in line with their job preferences.
* Deliver a high-quality service in line with the IPS.
* Provide effective operational oversight to the team.
* Work collaboratively with partners, employers, and other stakeholders to enhance service delivery and achieve better outcomes for our customers.
Our new Team Leader will be performance-driven with a commitment to quality and high standards.
The successful candidate will have the following:
* Excellent understanding of employment support.
* The ability to drive improvement through focused performance management.
* Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire others.
* Ability to build relationships with a wide range of people and stakeholders.
* A non-judgemental approach with a genuine belief that people with a health condition or experiencing disadvantage can find paid employment.
* A positive mindset, able to handle setbacks and challenges, and a commitment to working in a strengths-based way.
* Be willing to work across South Yorkshire as required.
Salary and Benefits
Starting salary 4D £34,391. Generous holiday entitlement – 27 days annual leave, statutory bank holidays plus an additional 4 SYHA days, pro rata. Pension contribution. Excellent flexible working options including Flexi Time, Condensed Hours, Part Time, and Job Share.
