What You Will Do: 1. Support and Supervision of Foster Carers: Provide regular supervision, support, and guidance to foster carers to ensure high standards of care for children and young people. Conduct home visits, including unannounced visits, to monitor welfare and compliance with fostering regulations. 2. Assessment and Recruitment: Undertake comprehensive assessments of prospective foster carers using frameworks such as Form F assessments. Assist in recruitment, selection, and training of new foster carers, ensuring adherence to statutory guidelines. 3. Case Management: Manage a caseload of foster carers, ensuring timely and accurate case records, reports, and reviews. Develop and implement care plans that promote the welfare and development of looked-after children. 4. Safeguarding and Compliance: Ensure all placements comply with safeguarding procedures and statutory child protection guidelines. Investigate safeguarding concerns and collaborate with other professionals to address issues effectively. 5. Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work closely with health, education, and social care teams to provide holistic support for foster families and children. Attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings, including placement planning and foster panel reviews. 6.
