Salary: £24,000 - £25,000, subject to experience.
Role Overview:
Keplin Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Field Sales Assistant to support our sales and buying teams. This role is office-based, but will involve occasional retailer visits to conduct SWOT analysis on product categories. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, providing essential information to our sales reps, and supporting existing account managers. You will also play a key role in ensuring efficient communication between sales teams and stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Team Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team, ensuring they have the resources needed to achieve their targets.
* New Line Forms: Complete retailer new line forms and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
* Pricing & Inventory: Provide pricing and inventory information to sales representatives and account managers.
* SWOT Analysis: Visit retail sites to carry out SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis on product categories.
* Buying Team Support: Assist the buying team with necessary tasks, ensuring smooth collaboration and information flow.
* Communication: Act as a key point of contact, engaging with various internal teams and external stakeholders to support smooth business operations.
Key Skills:
* Eye for Detail: A high level of accuracy and thoroughness in completing tasks.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Competent in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reports, presentations, and data analysis.
* Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interaction with stakeholders.
* Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively across departments, fostering strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
* Initiative: A self-starter who can solve problems independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
* Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Retail Market Awareness: Good understanding of the UK retail market, staying updated with industry trends and consumer behaviour.
Experience:
* Retail Experience (Preferred): Previous experience working in or with the retail industry is highly desirable.
* Fast-Paced Environment: Experience working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines is a strong asset.
