Description
Tēnei tūranga - About the role: Three Rivers Health is a friendly, fast-paced, well-established practice, and we are looking for a part-time receptionist/administrator to join our Team.
The reception team is a pivotal component of the general practice team as they are the first point of contact with patients and visitors on the front-line reception and telephony services.
Mōu | About you: In the role, you will be required to perform the following tasks and duties; however, a full job description is available:
1. Reception & administration experience preferred.
2. Medical practice experience preferred.
3. Competent IT Skills.
4. Arriving & Greeting patients and visitors.
5. Invoicing and collecting fees.
6. New patient enrolments.
7. Scanning & allocating email messages & medical documents.
8. Invoicing & general accounting.
9. Friendly & positive nature.
10. Able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Skills and Experience:
1. A passion for delivering excellent administrative services to assist the team and our patients.
2. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
3. A high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and a strong work ethic.
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage relationships at all levels.
5. An interest in contributing to a positive team culture and being part of ‘the Team'.
6. An understanding of Cultural Safety, Cultural Competence & Te Tiriti o Waitangi is desirable.
7. Experience in working within a Patient Management System is desirable (however, full training and ongoing support is provided).
8. Candidates must have NZ residency or a valid Work Visa.
9. The ideal candidate must be able to work between 08:00 and 18:00 Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays including school holidays.
