Job Description
As a Registered Nurse (RGN) the purpose & core responsibilities of your role will include:
1. Maintain a very high standard of patient care at all times in accordance with agree operational policies and procedures as a skilled member of the nursing team.
2. Ensure that the well-being and safeguarding interests of all patients, employees and visitors is promoted
3. To plan, implement and evaluate plans– making observations for improved patient care
4. To assist Senior Staff in their management of clinical departments and to provide effective leadership and management in their absence
5. To provide safe and effective care to allocated patients, working independently and without direct supervision
6. Ensure that own personal nursing practice is in accordance with clients policies and guidelines and that professional practice is in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct.
Job Specification:
7. Registered Nurse with valid, live NMC registration
8. A minimum of 6 months clinical experience within a nursing home/homecare or hospital environment
9. Aware of NMC code of accountability
10. Outstanding communication (Written and Verbal) & interpersonal skills
11. Demonstrates confidentiality
