What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for Electricians to service our client base across Scotland on a full time, permanent basis. You'll be working with established teams to assist in our continued successful delivery of projects across multiple sectors including, but not limited to, Power, Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical, Food and Beverage, and Bio-Energy.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:
1. Install cable containment systems to a high standard safely.
2. Install, gland, terminate cable systems mainly used in the industrial sector to BS 7671 and supplied drawings.
3. Install electrical equipment to BS 7671 and manufacturer's instructions.
4. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
5. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
6. Work at height to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures (using appropriate safety equipment and adhering to safe working procedures).
7. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
8. Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
9. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and standards.
What Do You Need?
1. Fully qualified electrician with skill in the installation, repair and maintenance of all types of electrical equipment and components.
2. ECS Grading Card - must be current/in date (BS 7671 Training, Approved Health and Safety Assessment).
3. Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade.
4. Knowledge of applicable electrical standards and regulations.
5. Fully qualified to 18th Edition.
6. Water industry experience would be highly advantageous, but other sectors such as heavy industry will also be considered.
7. EUSR Ticket.
