Description Programme Manager £95,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 4) Manchester city centre (hybrid working - find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy ) We’re looking for an experienced Programme Manager, with a proven track record of complex programme delivery and engaging with senior colleagues and executive leaders, to join our Transformation team in Manchester. In this role you’ll lead exciting, multi-million-pound programmes across Co-op. This is a great opportunity for you to gain valuable exposure to the wider business; building strong relationships with lots of teams and partners as you go. We’ll look to you to play a key role in strategic initiatives that make a real difference to the way we do business; helping to shape the future of our Co-op. What you’ll do Lead multiple, high profile transformation programmes, representing the Transformation Delivery team at executive level Drive decision-making and challenge our established ways of working to deliver continuous improvement Act as an expert, mentor and role model for senior colleagues in programme delivery, including governance, risk, issue and dependency management, resource and cost forecasting, performance monitoring and reporting and benefit realisation Consider the needs of our business, customers, members, colleagues and partners to make sure change is delivered effectively Provide effective and inspiring communication and engagement with colleagues of all levels right across Co-op Manage and lead a team and be a role model for them in their development Be part of our extended leadership team within Transformation; setting the strategic direction, providing coaching and mentoring, and improving capability and ways of working This role would suit people who have Proven experience using multiple programme methodologies and change management approaches to deliver sustainable shifts in business outcomes Experience of accountability for multi-million-pound budgets to successfully deliver complex transformational change Pragmatism, curiosity and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, cutting through complexity Strong commercial and financial acumen and the ability to quickly understand and respond to business needs to deliver change effectively in a fast-paced environment Extensive experience working with a wide variety of internal and external partners; including those at executive level Experience of inspiring, empowering and leading people directly and through matrix management to achieve great results Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people effectively and inclusively Why Co-op?
