Overview
Are you an experienced Operations Manager ready to take the next step in your career? We’ve teamed up with a leading property management firm to offer an exciting opportunity as the Operations Manager for a prominent retail destination.
Your responsibilities will be:
* Lead Operations: Manage daily Centre operations, ensuring high standards in both hard and soft services with a focus on slick contractor management and engagement.
* Team Development: Empower, motivate, and develop the operational team to deliver excellent service, working together to drive a one team ethos.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, landlords, and local authorities, ensuring effective communication and addressing concerns promptly.
Key objectives:
* Health & Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure adherence to all statutory and best practice procedures for Health & Safety (H&S) and Environmental management.
* Contractor Management: Oversee contracted service teams (Soft Services, Hard Services, and Vertical Transportation) through their managers.
* Budget & Service Charge Management: Manage operational budgets and support the Destination Director in preparing the annual service charge.
* Service Delivery: Ensure that Maintenance, Security, Cleaning, H&S, and Service Charge provisions meet performance standards and stay within budget.
* Car Park Income/Expenditure Management: Monitor and control income and expenses from the car park, including cost justification and forecasting.
The right candidate will have:
* Strong Leadership Skills: A proven leader with expertise in empowering, communicating, and motivating teams, with a background in customer-facing roles, ideally in shopping centres.
* IOSH or NEBOSH accreditations.
* Contractor Management: Skilled in managing contractors across both hard and soft services
* Budget Management Experience: Proficient in managing budgets, ideally with experience in service charge management.
