Role Overview
G2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Fire Consultant to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for maintaining a strong understanding of building fire safety, particularly within large property portfolios.
About the Role
* This senior role requires providing expert guidance on fire safety, covering areas such as building design, repurposing, refurbishment, contract management, and audits.
* You will lead the review and development of the Council's fire safety strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with the Stock Investment Manager and Compliance & Building Safety Manager to achieve strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain and enhance the organization's fire safety expertise, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
2. Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues, ensuring effective implementation of fire safety policies and procedures.
3. Develop and deliver training programs to ensure all staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities in fire safety.
4. Conduct site visits and audits to identify potential fire hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in fire safety or a related field, preferably in a leadership role.
* Degree in a relevant discipline, such as fire safety engineering, architecture, or a related field.
* Professional certifications, such as NFPA or BREEAM, are highly desirable.
