You’ll be part of a dedicated team that ensures a seamless experience for both candidates and managers. In this role, your primary focus will be on the recruitment process, providing essential support to the Recruitment Officer. You will handle a variety of administrative tasks that are critical to ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment experience. This will include responsibilities such as managing candidate applications, coordinating interviews, conducting pre-employment checks, and assisting in the creation and posting of job adverts. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to work on recruitment-related projects, helping to streamline processes and improve the overall candidate experience. You'll also play a key role in organising and participating in recruitment events, where you’ll engage with prospective candidates and help promote Rainbows as an employer of choice. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruitment and HR in established and supportive team, contribute to key projects, and be actively involved in bringing new talent into our organisation. Hours: The hours of this role will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00am until 5:00pm based in the office at Rainbows Hospice, Loughborough. About the role To provide a full range of administration support to the People Department, with majority of the role supporting with the Recruitment activity. Some of the key responsibilities include (but not limited to): Supporting the People Team across the full range of HR functions, covering all aspects of the employee life cycle. Collaborating with the Payroll Department and HR Advisor to ensure timely and accurate HR system updates and payroll changes. Assisting the Recruitment Officer with: Managing recruitment enquiries from candidates, managers, and external partners. Creating and advertising job vacancies. Pre-screening candidates via telephone. Booking interviews and conducting pre-employment checks. Offering general administrative support throughout the recruitment process. Requirements Proven administration experience Be able to provide excellent customer service to a range of stakeholders Experience of using an HR/Recruitment Information system Excellent computer literacy – including Microsoft Office Ability to multitask a varied workload and prioritise in order to meet deadlines Further requirements can be found by downloading the Person Specification.
