Would you feel confident supporting, students and staff in regards to their system installation, repairs, updates and more within a school setting Class People, are thrilled to be supporting a local educational establishment in the recruitment for a School IT Technician on a full-time permanent basis working all year round What are the roles and responsibilities for an IT Support Technician? Provide first and second level of technical support to users relating to all IT, telecoms, Audio Visual equipment and stage lighting and controllers. Maintain and repair IT equipment, liaise with third-party maintenance and repair companies or seek specialist assistance in order to ensure safe and efficient operation. Assist in the maintenance and installation of the school CCTV cameras. Undertake daily routine and non-routine checks, maintenance, calibration, cleaning and fault investigation. What Class People are looking for in an IT Support Technician? Experience in IT support and have a positive approach to solving problems and improving user experience. Relevant experience in Windows 10 & 11, Office 365, printers, touch screen technology, projectors and networking hardware is desirable. Someone who is passionate about providing support to a range of users from students to staff members within the school. This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and pre-employment checks. This opportunity is paying up to £25,992 per year on a full-time all year round basis.
