This position involves 12-hour continental shifts, based on a 4 on / 4 off pattern across nights and days.
You will be delivering industry excellence in internal training programs and packages across the Coventry manufacturing site, covering H&S and operational curricula to ensure a trained, safe, and capable workforce.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, effective, and technically sound training.
* Coordinate timetables for individual coaching and classroom training.
* Prepare training plans and materials from existing content.
* Work closely with line managers, shift leadership teams, and site specialists for training requirements for new starters and shift capability development plans.
* Communicate plans with shift leadership teams.
* Measure the effectiveness of training programmes and escalate areas of improvement to Specialists & MPE execute team.
* Coach mentors/buddies.
* Ensure appropriate mentors/buddies are available from induction to validation with CC’s.
* Complete individual validations.
* Ensure training records are completed and recorded.
* Deliver mandatory training and refreshers to achieve and maintain >95% compliance.
* Focus on “Maintain the Standard”.
* Support the site in aspects of GOA process.
Qualifications
* Subject matter expert across site equipment (Process Extrusion).
* Formally trained trainer.
* Experience in a training delivery role.
* Previous Manufacturing Technician experience.
* SET Certified advantageous.
