Purpose of the Job Provide Internal Admin & Sales support to the External Sales Team. Chasing leads to obtain plans and project tracking to obtain site status and expected order dates assisting in converting schedules to orders. Key Responsibilities/Duties: Always promote Health & Safety in the workplace, displaying excellent personal safety and challenging others when unsafe behaviour is observed. This extends to ensuring all reports are aware of and behave in accordance with the company Health & Safety guidelines Instil and maintain a customer service culture where the customer always comes first. This includes customer service culture for our internal and external customers. To carry out other tasks as deemed necessary, that are within the job holder's capability. Liaise with External Sales and log the objective of their visits the outcome and any follow up next actions on the in house system. Measure quality of leads submitted by external sales, research and chase to obtain plans. Ensure effective department and cross departmental communication at all times. Identify potential new business opportunities via lapsed builders & obtain leads from various sources Complete a minimum of 30 updates per day chasing leads and tracking quotes to achieve target. Track open quotes and obtain new site details with expected order dates Call to book and schedule in external sales appointments. Provide product knowledge to an extent to be able to answer queries to customers and in-house. Collate/Provide Forward Planning of any outstanding schedules and leads to your external sales contact(s) and customer to assist with their working week. Effective Feedback to be provided to line manger and high management in relation to any lost high value schedules. Prepare summaries and reports for your line manager, sales team and others required. Build and maintain a good working relationship with your dedicated external sales contact(s) to gain knowledge and an overall understanding of the customers on patch. Provide support and cover in the absence of your internal and external sales colleagues. Collate review/agenda packs highlighting the individuals/customers performance to assist external sales and higher management in meetings.
