Job Profile
1. The role of Field Claims Adjuster is a home based role out on the road visiting customers who have suffered losses and progressing those claims toward an amicable settlement.
2. Providing exceptional service is central to the role and the successful candidate will handle a mixture of claims through the clients Direct and Broker channel for both High Net Worth and Commercial customers for both buildings and contents losses.
3. This role will predominantly cover Northern Home Counties, but a flexible approach to travel is needed given the size of the team.
4. The expectation is that the successful candidate will require one administrative (desk based) day per week.
5. The Field Claims team are a team of around 6/8 who support the Property Claims function through visiting customers who have notified claims to inspect damage, assess policy coverage and agree claim settlement in lieu of an external Loss Adjuster.
6. The team's primary target is to maximise the number of new claim instructions they go out on in order to meet their objectives of expediting claim settlement.
Applicant Requirements
7. Candidates must be able to demonstrate previous loss adjusting experience and ideally will have handled HNW losses.
8. You must be a well organised individual, have excellent attention to detail, along with good communication skills.
9. Progression towards professional qualifications would be advantageous, but not essential.
