Gap healthcare are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Peterborough for Children's Residential Support Worker, supporting children and young people with some complex emotional challenges, Learning disabilites or Mental Health
This role is permanent and full time.
Role Overview:
As a Residential Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and loving home environment for children and young people. You will provide support to help them flourish and reach their full potential, while building nurturing relationships. Empowering children to make positive choices and collaborating with professionals and colleagues is essential to this role.
Key Responsibilities:.
Build Relationships: Establish safe and nurturing connections with the children.
Communication Skills: Maintain clear and effective communication with children, colleagues, and professionals.
Calm Under Pressure: Stay composed during challenging situations
To be responsible for the homes financial administration during your shift, to inlcude petty cash, and young peoples personal allowances
Act in any emergancy situation and apply to established protocols
