JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood is currently recruiting for Senior Package Equipment Engineers to be based in our Staines office to work on offshore projects. We're working on offshore green and brownfield scopes in Oil & Gas and a Clean Energy project. The role will be on a temporary (agency) basis for 12 months and we work a hybrid work policy.
Equipment includes chemical injection, produced water handling, and other mechanical packages.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Preparation of data sheets for vendor packages (including process packages, and rotating machinery)
2. Development of the mechanical requirements of the project phases, including conceptual, preliminary, final and operational support
3. Equipment weight and size estimation for weight control and plant layout
4. Preparation of enquiry requisitions for Long Lead Items
5. Review and evaluation of equipment suppliers' bids for Long Lead Items and preparation of bid evaluation reports
6. Preparation of budget enquiries to support estimate
7. Provision of support and advice on Package equipment matters
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Extensive experience, primarily in a contracting environment, working with vendor packages on FEED for the Oil & Gas and Energy industries
2. Mechanical Engineering Degree
3. Flexible attitude, with good written and verbal communication skills
4. Familiarity with relevant API and ASME codes and standards
5. Computer literate within Microsoft Office
