Unite People are working with a specialist construction contractor to hire a Site Manager, to oversee a five months in the North East.
The project involves the fitout of an existing industrial building, including flooring, partitions, storage, associated M&E/ equipment and cold storage areas.
You will be responsible for the site setup, man-management, site safety, ordering of labour/ materials, keeping the project on programme and budget.
The role is ideal for an experienced Site Manager based in the North East of the UK, with experience of industrial/ commercial shed builds, including their fitout and internals packages.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the project manager and subcontractors to ensure successful completion.
* Supervise and lead a team ensuring productivity and adherence to safety standards.
* Health and Safety Compliance
* short term programme look-aheads, and progress meetings with Project Management, client & stakeholders.

Resource Management: Manage labour, plant and materials delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
* CSCS Card
* SMSTS
* First Aid
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
