Job summary The Clinical Board of Surgical and Associated Specialist Services are looking to strengthen their operational team, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the operational and strategic management of the Urology, Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) and Vascular Surgery services. This pivotal role requires strong leadership, governance expertise, and performance focus to support high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care within a complex tertiary surgical environment.Working closely with the Speciality Clinical Director and Matron, the post-holder will be responsible for delivering key performance, quality, and financial targets. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing service improvement initiatives aligned with Trust priorities, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.Working with the triumvirate leadership team you will support governance responsibilities, including oversight of clinical risk, incident management, compliance with national and Trust standards, and leading on CQC preparedness.
