This role is based in our Chester office, operating Monday to Friday on a rotational shift between 8am and 6pm. This role is office-based, 5 days per week in our Saltney, Chester office. As an Internal Account Manager you will be responsible for nurturing and maintaining key customer accounts; resolving any client queries or concerns ensuring customer expectation is consistently managed. This includes quoting and closing potential sales opportunities from a mixture of activities. Following up on existing leads in order to convert into sales for the company as well as developing opportunities where appropriate by regularly chasing through quotations and logging their status on the CRM. You will ensure all agreed KPIs are met and all performance related data analysis is kept up to date, holding regular account reviews with key accounts. Roles & Responsibilities: Create quotations based on engineer reports, new enquiries & renewal service contracts amongst all other customer enquiries. To make outbound sales calls via telephone to prospective & existing customers To make outbound contact via email/social media platforms to existing customers to develop and maintain customer relationships Nurturing and developing key accounts by identifying target business/market opportunities for lead generation within existing client base Population of company CRM with sales opportunities, including follow up actions to maximise sales To develop a good knowledge and understanding of the industry and our services to allow more productive sales calls to be completed To track sales targets based on agreed team KPIs, regularly monitoring account performance To maintain any relevant customer KPI / performance review documentation Hold regular performance review meetings with key accounts to ensure their expectations are met To focus on achieving individual and team objectives and communicate performance to your line manager identifying any potential areas of growth To work positively and communicate professionally across the team, providing an effective contribution to work tasks To manage your own personal development and provide opportunities for career development within the business Person Specification Criteria - Education, Qualifications & Experience: Essential: Good level of general education Excellent organisational skills Previous experience of working in a professional environment Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office (predominately Word and Excel) Excellent communication, verbal and written, skills Ability to manage own workload and establish priorities Experience of working effectively as part of a team as well as independently Ability to solve problems with a positive attitude Self-motivated and able to learn quickly Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role Exposure to aftersales and/or a sales environment What you can expect: A twice per annum, ‘Profit Related Pay’ scheme that ties bonus amounts to the amount of profit made by the business.
