Job Purpose:
Provides a high quality unsolicited scientific, medical, pharmaceutical and technical support through the response of accurate and timely medical/scientific information to all internal and external inquiring customers (e.g. medical experts, consumers, patients, internal stakeholders) of varied medical information requests/requirements across the entire client portfolio.
Major Accountabilities:
Therapy Area MI Leadership
Strategically aligned to a therapy area and acts as a product expert to provide high-quality MI services to UK customers.
Is an integral & valued member of the Therapy area Medical HO and Field team and aligns with medical strategy.
Assists with the creation of DOF and SmPC / product training for new associates.
Contributes to and participates in Medical meetings through insight sharing. Collates and shares TA insights every month and identifies any valuable and actionable clinical insights that can have an impact and translate into fundamental changes.
Effectively helps drive external engagement by working closely with Field medical colleagues.
Represents the local team at a global level to manage and lead on any innovative pilots, share best practise and manage the localisation of Global guidance documents.
Ensures our MI processes for pipeline and launch excellence are robust and business aligned.

· Provision of appropriate advice on the use of any relevant product is critical for both Brand Support and optimum patient safety.
· The professional approach and knowledgeable advice provided are crucial to the continued ‘safe’ use of any relevant brand and to future product growth.
