KCR Connect is recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities management company for a skilled Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Manager based in Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned M&E professional to take charge of overseeing both reactive and planned maintenance for mechanical and electrical teams. The role offers an excellent salary of £55k-£60k per annum and the chance to work with a well-established team.
What You'll Do:
As the M&E Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Reactive Maintenance
* Lead and oversee all reactive maintenance activities for mechanical and electrical systems.
* Prioritise and assign tasks to ensure quick resolution of any issues.
Planned Maintenance
* Ensure the delivery of planned maintenance, following SFG20 guidelines.
* Develop mobile working solutions and track remedial actions across all planned works.
Resource Management
* Manage and mentor a team of M&E technicians.
* Provide ongoing training and support to drive team performance and skill growth.
Operational Management
* Develop and implement strategies to improve maintenance efficiency.
* Drive improvements in planned maintenance processes and mobile solutions.
Customer Communication
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
* Work closely with the service delivery team to maintain clear communication with clients.
Safety & Compliance
* Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
* Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Stock Management
* Oversee the procurement and management of spare parts, ensuring each team has adequate supplies.
What You'll Bring:
Essential Criteria:
* Strong experience managing maintenance operations for M&E teams.
* In-depth hands-on experience in M&E engineering, with comprehensive knowledge of maintenance practices.
* Proficiency in management software (e.g., CAFM, Microsoft Office).
* Strong leadership and decision-making skills, particularly under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Desirable Criteria:
* A degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
* Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent qualifications.
