Management Accountant
Location: Birmingham, B32 3NT
Salary: £38,205 - £41,732 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking management accountant to join The University, a student-centred University currently undergoing a period of transformation, business diversification and growth.
The Role
The successful applicant will build constructive working relationships with both University staff and external stakeholders at all levels, providing accurate and timely information to inform management decision making, as well as supporting the finance team in delivering a finance service including payroll, student finance, accounts payable/receivable, together with management and financial accounting. The role will suit a team-player looking to broaden their experience and knowledge.
Skills and Qualifications
1. CCAB qualified, numerate and articulate with a confident "can do" approach.
2. Significant hands-on experience in a similar busy finance environment.
3. Excellent IT skills including advanced Excel knowledge.
4. Good report writing skills and good interpersonal skills in liaison with all levels of personnel.
5. Demonstrable, recent experience of working within a busy finance environment.
6. Educated to GCSE standard (minimum of 4 GCSE's including English and Maths).
7. Excellent MS Office/Advanced Excel skills.
