Overview
Cobbs Property Services Limited are an established firm of property consultants with offices in Kent and Central London. With a speciality towards property and asset management, Cobbs act for a large number of clients including property funds, property companies, family offices and high net worth individuals and manage both commercial and residential properties across London and Southern England and increasingly across the UK.
Cobbs are experiencing significant growth in their business and consequently are looking to strengthen their existing team through making key appointments to boost their offering to clients. Cobbs now wish to recruit an Operations Manager to join their senior management team. This position is critical to the day to day running of the business and the scope offered in terms of the variety of responsibilities is substantial.
Key Responsibilities
1. The Operations Manager will work across the business providing input and support to the Directors, property managers, facility managers and finance team.
2. Responsibility for compliance and utility management.
3. Oversee contractor and consultant management and liaison.
4. Manage tenant engagement, providing a direct line of communication for the reporting of R&M matters and general enquiries.
5. Managing (with others) the property insurance renewal process.
6. Provide support and assistance with the AP and credit control functions.
7. Direct input to client liaison and the preparation of client reports.
8. Preparation of marketing and other documents.

Experience and Qualifications
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a track record in property administration although what is most essential to this role is being a team player with the ability to work at all levels, across multi-disciplinary teams and most of all to have a flexible and hands-on approach to their work.
Rewards and Benefits
This position offers a highly competitive salary of between £40,000 and £50,000 per annum with the opportunity of a discretionary annual bonus. The hours are 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, although some input may be required outside these core hours. There is flexibility as to work location, be it in Mayfair, Kent and also from home although work commitments will involve a degree of travel from time to time.
