Job Title: Clip n’ Climb Arena Assistant Location: The Pinnacle Bouldering Centre and Clip 'n’ Climb Northampton, Weston Favell Job Type: Full-Time, Part Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive, based on experience Perks: 28 days holiday Pro Rata Free climbing access Exclusive staff discounts Role Overview: As a Clip n’ Climb Arena Assistant, you will manage and deliver exciting and safe climbing sessions using the Clip n’ Climb facilities, inspiring visitors of all ages to enjoy climbing in a fun, controlled environment. You’ll ensure smooth day-to-day operations, overseeing safety, customer experience, and session scheduling. This role is ideal for someone with an interest for climbing and customer service, looking to help create a memorable experience for all visitors. Key Responsibilities: Clip and Climb Sessions: Lead and supervise fun, engaging climbing sessions for groups and individuals, ensuring they are suitable for all ages and abilities. Ensure that sessions start and finish on time, keeping the schedule running smoothly. Safety: Conduct daily safety checks of Clip n’ Climb equipment and ensure safe operations at all times. Deliver safety briefings to participants, ensuring everyone understands how to use the equipment properly. Kit up participants in safety harnesses and other equipment ensuring it its fitted correctly. Perform rescues and give assistance to any participants who require it. Full training on the above will be provided. Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, greeting visitors warmly and ensuring they have an enjoyable experience. Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Centre Maintenance: Help keep the Clip n’ Climb area clean and well-maintained, and assist with reception and café duties as needed. Skills & Experience: Required: Interest in climbing or an interest in sports. Strong customer service and communication skills. Desired: First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications. Experience working in a busy leisure environment Personal Attributes: Able to stay calm under pressure and handle a fast-paced environment. Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic about working with customers of all ages. Highly organized and self-motivated, with a proactive approach.
