Job Description Planning and Delivery Leader – Aerospace Procurement Full time Derby /Hybrid An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning and Delivery Leader t o join the Aerospace Procurement team, based in Derby. As a Planning and Delivery Le ader, you will play an integral role in the preparation, planning, issuing, and controlling production schedules along with coordinating material requirements, to ensure a controlled flow for approved materials is timed to meet production. What you will be doing With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to: Schedule equipment and personnel and confirm material supply and demands. Prepare work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirement. Co-ordinate interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc. Schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.
