Join to apply for the Neighbourhoods Project Officer role at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
An exciting and unique opportunity has opened up to provide coordination and delivery of the overall Neighbourhoods Programme. This work will specifically help in coordinating reporting of individually funded projects, assisting in communications for the overall programme and supporting the delivery of cross-cutting projects across the Neighbourhoods programme.
Neighbourhoods is an ambitious and transformational programme to re-organise how we deliver primary care, community health and social care services across City and Hackney. The intention is not to layer on additional services but instead to re-organise and support the development of existing service provision in a new model.
The Neighbourhoods Project Officer will support the programme team which needs to work with a wide range of stakeholders including primary care (through Primary Care Networks), community nursing, mental health, social work and voluntary sector services to deliver on specific Neighbourhood projects.
We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic team member with the ability to motivate and inspire confidence in others, develop effective working relationships and manage competing priorities in a challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management - lead on defined project deliverables, with the support from the Neighbourhood Team, for the overarching Workforce and OD Delivery Plan and Integrated Neighbourhood Team programmes of work.
2. Governance - ensure that sign off of projects and schemes within each programme area are within the organisational governance processes. This includes ensuring projects meet their key milestones, with milestones monitored and project slippages highlighted with mitigating action taken.
3. Communication - lead on the delivery of the communication of key strategic objectives, to all stakeholders, to ensure the successful project deliverables are promoted and shared across City and Hackney.
4. Relationship Building - support the management of the complex relationships between individuals and organisations and respond appropriately to challenges as a result of this complexity, seeking support and guidance as required, particularly when dealing with senior stakeholders.
