Role Overview: Defour Partnership is collaborating with an award-winning National Social Care Charity undergoing transformation and growth. They are seeking an experienced Head of Information and Regulatory Governance to join their Quality and Compliance Team.
This is a full-time, permanent role, flexible location within the UK, with travel to Widnes and nationally as needed.
Responsibilities:
* Lead information governance, risk management, and complaints functions, managing policies, processes, and controls to ensure high performance.
* Develop and implement strategies for information governance and regulatory compliance, aligning data governance with organizational goals.
* Act as Data Protection Officer (DPO), liaising with ICO, advising on GDPR and data protection laws to ensure compliance.

Candidate Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent in business administration, IT, or related field preferred.
* Qualifications in governance, ISO, CISSP, or similar certifications preferred.
* Certified Data Protection Officer (C-DPO).
* Proven experience in governance, risk management, and information management within complex organizations.
* Expertise in governance and data protection.
* Strong understanding of social care regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
