The Trust has a diverse property portfolio of around 68 sites with an approximate total GIA of 70,000 sq. m spread across Kent and Medway, which provide 24-7 365-day patient services.
Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT) employs around 5700 staff made up of community nurses, physiotherapists, dieticians, podiatrists, dental staff, and many other health care professionals and corporate services. This Trust has 33 sites included in the contract.
About the Role:
The Commercial Gas Engineer will be working across our portfolio on NHS sites, completing gas servicing (PPMs), breakdown call outs, and minor repair works to commercial plant rooms. You will be supported by our Gas QS lead, located within the Kent branch. You will join a supportive team of engineers and have full support from regional Facilities Managers to complete your role. There will also be a requirement to liaise with NHS Estate Managers when needed. Responsibilities include carrying out gas servicing and repairs, breakdowns to the operational performance of the contracts under management, and conducting minor project works.

* Domestic and Commercial Gas ACS
* CCN1 – Domestic Nat Gas Safety
* COCN1 / CIGA1 / ICPN1 / TPCP1 / TPC1A
* LPG PD
* G3 Qualifications
* Extensive experience as a commercial gas engineer
