Site Supervisor

We're currently seeking a Site Supervisor for the Glasgow area, who shares our commitment to quality, service, and environmental improvement.
Role overview:
Management and supervision of all subcontractors, deliveries, plant and coordination therein to ensure projects are delivered within time to the required safety standards.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Effective management of site records, daily labour, plant allocation sheets, site diaries, H&S inductions, method, risk & COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, scaffold/ladder/access inspections, material logs and all other records as required.
* Monitor plant/equipment, ensuring timely return, protection, and security.
* Prepare progress information for weekly reports.
* Manage site strategy for Hazard Awareness and Risk Assessment to ensure compliance with Company Safety Policy, directives, and instructions.
* Ensure up-to-date statutory mandatory and informational signage including standard notice board.
* Ensure compliance with the requirements of the Company Environmental Policy.
* Report and record complaints and queries and plan for closure/solutions.
* Daily inspections to present properties for handover to the client.
* Carry out 7-day pre-start visits.
* Manage strategy for storage of all site materials, protection fixtures/equipment.
* Mentor the team, trainees, apprentices, etc.
Skills and experience:
* Relevant site/contract management experience.
* Experience in kitchens/bathrooms for social housing is a distinct advantage.
* Experience in performance management of trades and subcontractors.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate a team/subcontractors.
* Ability to implement recovery plans, manage, and monitor progress.
* Ability to use technology to program works, provide reports, etc.
* Driving licence.
