Our client based in Inverurie has a new Permanent Opportunity, below are more details on the role; Duties & Responsibilities Assemble Equipment: Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions to accurately assemble equipment and products. Service & Repair: Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems according to designs and procedures, ensuring cleanliness is always upheld. Quality Control: Monitor and inspect materials, products, and equipment to detect and address defects or faults. Support Key Initiatives: Contribute to initiatives such as on-time delivery, schedule attainment, and quality cost management. Workplace Maintenance: Keep a safe, organized, clean, and tidy work area in line with 5S and LEAN principles. Innovation Support: Assist with new techniques, products, and the acquisition of new machinery. Continuous Improvement: Generate and implement improvement ideas and encourage team members to do the same. Process Improvement: Respond positively to process improvements and implement them willingly. Team Engagement: Participate in daily team meetings, actively discussing and addressing potential problem areas. Task Management: Complete tasks assigned by the Cell Leader to maintain high target achievement levels. Overtime Flexibility: Be prepared to work a reasonable amount of overtime to meet business operational demands. Quality Assurance: Ensure product quality meets the clients standards while maintaining the required output levels. Issue Reporting: Use the engineering support system to report and improve current designs. Company Promotion: Demonstrate awareness and promote company objectives, policies, and procedures. Safety Compliance: Work safely and report any safety concerns immediately to the Cell Leader or Manager. Policy Adherence: Follow inspection/fat criteria, policies, and procedures without exception. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as required by business needs as reasonably expected by your line manager. Skills & Experience Required Strategic: Technical Understanding: Ability to comprehend, evaluate, and apply technical information. Drawing Interpretation: Proficient in reading and understanding engineering drawings, schematics, and ETS, along with written instructions and procedures. Quick Learner: Capable of understanding the context of a challenge and quickly integrating new skills. Problem Solving: Provide effective solutions and suggestions to address the problems at hand.
