The role
As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Supporting financial activities across a multiple disciplined programme.
Day-to-day, you’ll build strong, supportive relationships with the cost centre managers and bidding teams, providing monthly reporting information with detailed variance analysis. As well as:
1. Complete forecasting requirements on-time and to the highest standard.
2. Hold monthly reviews with the Operational team to provide details of performance and areas questioning / challenging where necessary.
3. Provide key financial support to internal and external audits, ensuring compliance is maintained at all times.
4. Help to review, improve and drive processes forward, working closely with the Operational team.
5. Work closely with the business leads and ensuring pipelines are updated regularly.
This role is full time and is a Hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days on site with a requirement to work more if the project demands.
Essential experience of the Finance Business Partner:
6. Advanced numeric, analytical and technical skills
7. Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office – in particular, Excel modelling skills
8. Experience in ERP Business Systems
9. Manipulating data to present clear and concise financial messages for review
Qualifications for the Finance Business Partner:
10. Qualified Accountant (preferably ACA, ACCA or CIMA
11. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is also desirable

The successful candidate must be able to start on Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. However, they must be able to achieve and maintain Enhanced Developed Vetting (EDV).
