We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join our team as an Apprentice Catering Assistant.

As an apprentice, you will learn to:
* Contribute to healthy living by delivering a quality catering service.
* Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and drinks.
* Serve meals.
* Keep the kitchen equipment, crockery, and utensils clean and hygienic.
Apprenticeship Highlights:
* You will gain a nationally recognised Level 2 Production Chef qualification.
* You will receive onsite training throughout your Apprenticeship journey.

To become an apprentice, you must:
* Be 16 or over.
* Not already be in full-time education.
You can start an apprenticeship whether you’re starting your career, want a change, or you're upskilling in your current job. You can have a previous qualification like a degree and still start an apprenticeship.
As an apprentice, you’ll:
* Complete a Level 2 Production Chef apprenticeship standard.
* Have regular one-to-one sessions with a dedicated trainer either remotely or through visits to your workplace.
* Learn and train for a specific job.
* Get paid and receive holiday leave.
* Get hands-on experience in a real job.
* Study for at least 20% of your working hours.
* Complete assessments during and at the end of your apprenticeship.
* Be on a career path with lots of future potential.
Skills required:
* Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
* Ability to work in a pressured environment.
* Previous catering experience is desirable but not essential.
Qualifications required:
No previous qualifications required.
Personal qualities:
* A genuine interest in food.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Empathetic.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility.
Job Type: Apprenticeship
Pay: £6.40-£12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
Work days:
* Monday to Friday
* Weekend availability
