We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Developer to join our clients in-house Talent Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate, creative and energised by supporting the business develop its workforce's capabilities and skills. As a Talent Development th primary focus will be to provide career development support to employees, providing them with the tools, guidance, and advice to drive forward their own career. This is a PAYE short term role based in Aberdeen.
This role would ideally be suited to someone who has experience in partnering with the business to identify business needs, understanding the organizational context and translating into people-based solutions to make an impact as well as managing senior stakeholders.
Day to day the role will be responsible for:
Establishing close and trusting relationships with each employee within your assigned group, understanding their career ambitions, development needs and to supporting them with putting tangible development plans in place.
Conduct Career Reviews - engage in coaching-led conversations to help employees identify and achieve their career goals.
Provide guidance to employees and their managers on Personal Development plans, exploring different opportunities to learn, enhance knowledge and skills.
Support Managers in their role as Manager-Coaches ensuring they are aware of the tools, resources and training available to support them enhance their managerial capability.
Working closely with local technical experts to understand job roles, challenges and skills gaps and putting in place action plans to strengthen succession planning.
Manage the workforce planning for assigned directorate by anticipating mobility moves for the year ahead, anticipating the skills gaps and putting plans in place to address.
Drawing on data and metrics, support the business to shape and implement effective talent development strategies for assigned directorate.
Coordinate all annual talent development campaigns within each directorate which include Talent Reviews, Manager Review, Annual Mobility and Succession Planning etc.
Conduct site visits (both on and offshore) as and when required to build effective relationships and support the roll out of initiatives.
This opportunity would be suitable for someone who:
Has an understanding and experience as a HR Business Partner or similar
Has a can-do attitude, and has the ability to prioritise work and juggle multiple priorities
Strong influencing and communication skills at all levels within the organization
Comfortable to work in fast changing environment and managing ambiguity
Excellent organisation skills and the ability to use data analytics to measure performance
