Job Title: Material Handling Operator

Working Pattern: Full Time
The hours would be 07.30 - 16.00 four days per week and 07.30 - 14.00 one day per week, with lunch taken away (this equates to 37 hours per week).

Are you an organised individual with experience in Stores/Warehouse operations? Join our team as a Material Handling Operator and grow your career with us!
Responsibilities:
* Performing logistics processing, including Goods Receipt, Warehouse Management, Transport, and Dispatch.
* Ensuring the accuracy of incoming goods and addressing any visible damage.
* Operating equipment such as forklifts and hand-guided industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
* Maintaining data accuracy in our systems and conducting regular stock maintenance.
* Packing, assembling, and preparing deliveries according to shipping instructions.
* Safely transporting goods within and sometimes outside the premises.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
* Previous experience in Stores or material control (ideally within a rail environment).
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
* Knowledge of health and safety practices.
* IT literacy, particularly in MS Office applications and SAP.
* A full driving licence and FLT experience.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
* Experience in logistics processing in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with stock management systems.
Technologies:
* Forklifts and hand-guided industrial trucks.
* MS Office Suite.
* SAP for inventory management.
